In this paper, the basic inspiration of industry4.0 will be shared. The analysis of the effectiveness of Government of India's ‘Make in India’ initiative on manufacturing industry is assceesd. In the end, India's competitiveness in automotive industry and India readiness as preferred investment destination by all major automobiles giants will be discussed.
