On the Reform of the Integration of Innovation & Entrepreneurship Education and Professional Education in Universities

Abstract

In the context of mass entrepreneurship and innovation, and undertaking mission of higher education, colleges and universities should establish a talent training system that integrates innovation and entrepreneurship (Hereinafter referred to as I&E) into subject and professional education. Starting from background and needs, the research group comprehensively analyzed the necessity of the organic combination of I&E with professional education then proposed I&E major, that is, the positioning of professional and compound talents based on the characteristics of innovative and entrepreneurial talents. And the design of classroom and practical teaching, including integrated training model and layered education model, that is overlay on the surface, breakthrough on point layered education, in order to not only cater to the trend of I&E, but also reflect the reform direction of professional teaching.
