Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to apply the finite element method (FEM) computation results to examine the flow field obstruction in nasal airway obstruction (NAO) patients, the consistency of the blocking site, and the elucidating the NAO phenomenon. In addition, the comparison between flow pattern of NAO patients and the healthy subject during a respiratory cycle was discussed in this article.
