Employing a vast array of inter-textual pragmatics, the narrative remains ambiguous. Abstract

This paper investigates the narrative voice employed by Thomas Harris in Red Dragon as a source of knowledge about the fictional universe, more particularly about the main villain, Francis Dolarhyde.
