There was no short column failure of the side column for each specimen although it was constrained by the infilled brick wall. Abstract

—A total of three reinforced concrete bare frames infilled with brick walls were cyclically tested in this study. Each frame was infilled with a different shape of brick wall. A cyclically loading test was conducted for each specimen so that the hysteretic behaviors as well as the evolution of the failure mode of each specimen can be revealed, especially for the different shape of the infilled brick wall.
