This structure is designed for wireless on-body applications. The dimensions of proposed structure is 33 × 31 × 1.6 mm3, which is developed by using a FR-4 substrate. The dielectric constant of 4.4 and thickness chosen for this design is 1.6 mm. The defective ground structure and bio-skin layer at bottom of the antenna is introduced to improve performance of the antenna for on-body communication. Abstract
