Abstract

The paper discusses the eigenvalue problem describing the frequencies of a fluid vibrating in a boundary.Based on the method of Lagrange multipliers as a test function,a stabilized mixed finite element methods is constructed in order to avoid the spurious circulating modes.The existence of solutions is also proved.
