Its performance characteristics are found superior to the conventional design with the voltage-mode operational amplifiers. However, it has been found that the frequency of oscillation is considerably lower than the expected value in the high frequency range due to the non-ideal characteristics of the CFA. A new compensation is suggested to eliminate this problem. Abstract
A well-known tunable active-RC oscillator circuit is adopted with the use of modern current feedback amplifiers (CFAs) and analyzed for its performance characteristics.
