Abstract
Electrical imaging logging can obtain high-resolution static and dynamic images of the borehole wall, and can intuitively identify rich geological information such as various formation interfaces, fractures, and structural forms, and the azimuth describing the well such as deviation and well azimuth are the key parameters of image processing and dips extraction. The accuracy of its measurement directly affects the reliability of the subsequent logging interpretation. Therefore, it is very important to correct the inclinometer data. Firstly, this paper introduces the basic composition of the measurement system and the principle of data measurement. Secondly, it analyzes the basic principles of the evaluation of the inclinometer data and the calculation of the inclinometer azimuth, and introduces the basic principles of filtering algorithm and offset minimization optimization algorithm used in deviation processing. Finally, the processing results are verified through the actual measurement data of the field instruments and compared with the processing results of the Techlog software, the results show that the corrected inclinometer azimuth data is in good agreement with the processing results of Techlog.
