Abstract

This paper reviews topics concerning processing of electromagnetic and acoustic signals with some features resulted from their propagation through a real channel where multipath propagation occurs. The processing algorithm should be used to solve the inverse problem of restoring the signal, which is distorted by the channel. This algorithm, implemented by a time-reversal or non-linear echo-based concept, is discussed.
