Abstract

For Tsunami evacuation, specific evacuation information needs to be transmitted to each evacuee, for example, the nearest evacuation facility. At present, such an information transmitting system for narrow specific areas has not been organized well. In this paper, we propose a narrow-area specific messaging system where taxis play a role of information transmitters. Since taxis have a mobility property, their allocation pattern can be changed within the target area. Effectiveness of information transmission according to the taxi allocation pattern is evaluated through Multi-Agent System computer simulation. As the experimental results, it is found that decentralized and unbiased taxi allocation can accelerate evacuation completion.
