Importancia de la estrategia educativa para fortalecer el desarrollo de habilidades de trabajo autónomo en los estudiantes

Abstract

El presente estudio hizo énfasis en la importancia de que los estudiantes sean autónomos en el contexto escolar, entendiéndose esto como ser constructores de su propio aprendizaje a través del análisis y criticidad de los contenidos. Desde el punto de vista metodológico la investigación realizada se sustenta en el paradigma constructivista, como parte de proceso investigativo se aplicaron los métodos analítico-sintético e inductivo-deductivo y técnicas, la encuesta a los representantes de estudiantes del quinto año de educación básica de la Unidad Educativa María Piedad Castillo de Leví para identificar si los docentes del establecimiento educativo aplican estrategias que permitan fortalecer el trabajo autónomo en los educandos; tal como lo indica Carreño “las habilidades del trabajo autónomo son parte de las competencias emocionales  destinadas a formar y fortalecer el carácter”. Mediante este estudio se permitió construir la respectiva discusión de resultados y a la vez instruir las correspondientes conclusiones llegando a identificar la necesidad de incrementar acciones educativas en pro del desarrollo de las habilidades de trabajo autónomo en los estudiantes, y se realizan mejoras curriculares en base a las necesidades de los estudiantes direccionados a contenidos cognitivos por encima de los contenidos afectivos, la memorización de los contenidos y la autonomía. Finalmente existe la necesidad de que los docentes se capaciten en el desarrollo de las habilidades de trabajo autónomo en los estudiantes contribuyendo a su formación integral. Importance of the educational strategy to strengthen the development of autonomous work skills in students ABSTRACT The present study emphasized the importance of students being autonomous in the school context, understanding this as being builders of their own learning through the analysis and criticality of the contents. From the methodological point of view, the research carried out is based on the constructivist paradigm. As part of the research process, the analytical-synthetic and inductive-deductive methods and techniques were applied, the survey of the representatives of students of the fifth year of basic education of the Unit Educativa María Piedad Castillo de Levi to identify if the teachers of the educational establishment apply strategies that allow to strengthen the autonomous work in the students; As Carreño indicates, "autonomous work skills are part of the emotional competencies designed to form and strengthen character." Through this study, it was possible to construct the respective discussion of results and at the same time instruct the corresponding conclusions, identifying the need to increase educational actions in favor of the development of autonomous work skills in students, and curricular improvements are made based on the needs of students directed to cognitive content over affective content, memorization of content and autonomy. Finally, there is a need for teachers to be trained in the development of autonomous work skills in students, contributing to their comprehensive training.
