La lectura y el desarrollo de la cultura general del maestro en formación en la clase de inglés

Abstract

El desarrollo de una cultura general constituye una prioridad para la formación profesional del maestro en formación y la cultura artística y literaria permiten al estudiante de un idioma extranjero apropiarse de sus más altas creaciones y sus aportes fundamentales. Estas obras de la literatura universal forman parte del patrimonio cultural de la humanidad ya que en la misma medida en que expresan una realidad entrañablemente humana, no son ajenas al hombre en latitud alguna. Es por esto que el objetivo de esta investigación es ofrecer al profesor de idioma inglés actividades para promover el desarrollo de una cultura general a través de la lectura donde el empleo de la tecnología será un factor que favorecerá dicho propósito. El método empleado está basado en la sistematización de experiencias y se sustenta en la práctica didáctica- metodológica. De igual modo la observación servirá de base en esta indagación. Reading and the development of the general culture of the student teacher in the English class ABSTRACT General culture development has become a priority for the teacher’s professional training and literary and artistic cultures allow the students of a foreign language the acquisition of their best and fundamental contributions. These works of universal literature are considered a human cultural patrimony because they reflect a human reality for the rest of the world. For that reason, the main objective is to offer activities to promote the development of a general culture by means of reading where the use of technologies will be a factor which propitiates the achievement of this goal. The method applied is based on experiences systematization supported by didactic – methodological practice, at the same time observation will serve as base in this searching.
