Abstract

This paper presents certain considerations about lowering of the measuring uncertainty of the machining process empirical models in turning. It is considered that the lowering of the contributions from the computer aided measuring equipment and the use of appropriate research approaches can be the main factor of gaining reliable research results. The work is based on an empirical research that has been performed by using our own developed machining process modelling and research system.
