Modified Low-Frequency Filter for Signal Spectrum Limitation at Analog-Digital Converter’s Input with Differential Input 差分模数转换器输入信号频谱限制的改进低频滤波器

We have considered a modified architecture of the third order low-frequency filter (LFF), intended to be applied as an anti-alias filter on inputs of analog-digital converters (ADC’s) with differential input. We have obtained conditions for low-frequency filter’s circuit parametrical synthesis. We have shown results of suggested LFF simulation and compared its amplitude-frequency characteristics (AFC’s) at different frequencies of applied operational amplifiers’ (OP-AMP’s) unity gain (AD8132, THS4131).

Forecasting the Energy Consumption in Afghanistan with the ARIMA Model 基于ARIMA模型的阿富汗能源消费预测

The forecasting of the energy demand has a crucial role in the long-term development of the electrical network and power management. In this study, the energy consumption in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan has been investigated, in order to evaluate the expected change in the following years. The linear model ARIMA(1,1,1) has been selected for the situation and statistical analysis has been performed. The obtained results showed that the energy demand is expected to continue its increase and by the end of 2024, it should be in the range from 4391 GWh to 8375 GWh anually. The obtained information could be used for mid- and long-term planning of the electrical network development and the energy production in the country.

Implications of Residential Battery Charge and Discharge Rates on Self-consumption and Peak Power Exchange 住宅电池充放电率对自用和峰值电力交换的影响

Coupling batteries with photovoltaic generators in buildings can improve the building’s self-consumption and reduce its reliance on the grid. To quantify the effects of different battery charge/discharge rates on self-consumption and peak power exchange, four grid impact indicators have been analyzed – self-sufficiency rate, self-consumption rate, loss-of-load probability and peaks above limit. The analyses were performed for two households, using datasets 1-minute and 1-hour time steps. The results indicate that low charge/discharge rates have a negative effect on self-consumption and little to no effect on peak power exchange. It was also found that the first three indicators can be calculated with a reasonable accuracy when data with 1-hour time steps are used. High resolution data is necessary for the accurate calculation of the last indicator.

Life Data Analysis and Operational Reliability Point Estimation Related to Medical Electronic Devices 医疗电子设备寿命数据分析及运行可靠性点估算

The present paper is focused on a life data analysis of the Weibull model parameters through a parametric E-Bayesian assessment related to a set of medical electronic devices. The analysis is work on using a priori data for analyzing the current incoming information. The case study is purposed for formalize both the priori and accumulated sampling data obtained from real service information in the form of reliability empirical data. As a result of the case study and the current analysis, the point estimates of the operational reliability indices valid for the medical devices under study are experimentally obtained.

The digitalization of the contemporary engineering education relies greatly on the development of virtual and remote laboratories. This study presents the design and development of the Engine for Virtual Electrical Engineering Equipment (EVEEE). It is aimed at allowing easy creation of realistic virtual labs, which provide educational experience, similar to that of traditional laboratory exercises. The study presents the engine’s architecture, its use-cases, the main actors and their roles as well as the implementation of its public and administrative parts.

Simulation Based Approach for Determining the Battery Control Strategy of a PV and Battery Pilot System 基于仿真的光伏与电池先导系统电池控制策略确定方法

Implementing sophisticated battery control algorithms by overriding the inverter’s built-in battery controls may introduce technical bottlenecks and additional costs. Such an approach is therefore rarely justified for small scale, behind-the-meter storage. This paper focuses on determining the parameters of an inverter-enabled, rule-based control strategy so that the battery is governed similarly to when an optimization-based strategy is used. A five-step procedure has been proposed for the determination of the operational parameters. High resolution measurements of the electricity consumption and PV generation of a pilot case are used to simulate system’s operation. Results of the simulations for days with high and low solar insolation are presented.

Module for Taximeter Use of CAN Interface in Car 基于CAN接口的出租车计价器模块

The modern cars use information about the speed from the ABS system. This paper proposes a solution for taxicabs. The developed taximeter device uses the impulses from ABS for measurement of the distance of road and amount of money to be charged. This module reads current information about the speed using an internal CAN interface and generates a number of impulses proportional to the current vehicle speed. The device doesn’t influence the work of the other electronic systems of the vehicle. It can be used in any modules produced after 2000. The device is cheap. It was approved in real road conditions and its accuracy is 1.5%.

Computer Modeling and Experimental Verification of a Hybrid Electromagnetic System with Magnetic Flux Modulation 磁通调制混合电磁系统的计算机建模与实验验证

Finite element analysis of a hybrid electromagnetic system with magnetic flux modulation is carried out. The main idea is to build computer model for studying the main parameters of devices of this type. To ensure reliability of achieved results from the computer model, an experimental prototype of the modelled device is built. Specially designed control and measurement circuits are assembled. The obtained results are compared and analysed.

The present paper is a review of the different possibilities and benefits of the application of VFDs with asynchronous electric motors with supply voltage 6 kV, driving process equipment in thermal power generation plants. The underlying advantages in terms of increased efficiency and flexibility are shown in comparison with the throttling methods of control of the water and air flows. The installation and the startup of VFD 6 kV 4.0 MW on a boiler water feeding pump on three generation units in Thermal Power Plant "Varna" JSC is given as an example.
