Abstract

According to national standards, large-scale photovoltaic grid-connected inverters must have zero-voltage ride through (ZVRT) capability. This paper presents a ZVRT control strategy based on natural coordinate. Complexity of the control strategy is reduced due to saving phase-locked loop and eliminating coordinate transformation. The ZVRT control of grid-connected photovoltaic inverter under symmetrical and asymmetrical faults is discussed respectively. The simulation results show the rationality and effectiveness of the control strategy under the two different fault conditions.
