Abstract
Stratified media is one of the main medium in engineering applications, so research on electromagnetic propagation characteristics in layered media is practically significant. Utilize Matlab to simulate electromagnetic propagation characteristics in three-layered media, model the situation of inhomogeneous stratified media and use several different dielectric constants for comparison. The simulation result shows that as the dielectric constant of the second layer grows, the waveguide performance will reach a peak value and then gradually roll off, however, the dielectric constants corresponding to the peak values are not completely the same, but change with the settings of the background media.
