Abstract

The paper deals with the modeling of and design of resonant converters including the nonlinear model of inductance. The main part of paper shows the way how to simulate a nonlinear behavior of a real ferromagnetic core of inductance in MATLABenvironment. Carried-out results are original ones, and in spite of non-linear circuitry the output voltage THD is staying rather small, about 7-11%. Designed nonlinear elements have been inputted in to the simulation model of LCLC resonant converter. The modeling and simulation experiments have been provided in MATLAB software environment.
