To ensure comprehensive and safe test execution, all control elements operate under the supervision of a real-time system core providing protections of the motor and power converter. The improvement in reliability of hardware operation allows for an increased rate regarding power of the motors and power converters used for laboratory works. Abstract
The paper discusses the design principles of configurable control systems for electric drive instructional laboratories.
