Abstract
In this work, the performances of dual band pass RF filter recently treated, are significantly improved. These improvements include a reduction of insertion loss up to 0.1 dB at center frequency and 6.0 dB on return loss. The simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed optimization since that the return loss is now better than 30.0 dB. The filter is composing of two cascaded rings and has bandwidth wider of 40.0 MHz. The optimization is performed using successively as setting the width and the longitudinal dimensions of the filter ring. The new optimized filter occupies size of 270.0 mm2 only, rather 321.0 mm2, i.e 16.0 % reduction on overall size than previously.
