Compact CPW-fed antenna with ultra-wideband and dual polarization 紧凑的超宽带双极化cpw馈电天线

In this paper, a compact CPW-fed dual-polarized antenna is proposed for UWB wireless communication systems with dual-polarization operation. The proposed antenna covers an ultra wide band from3.1 to 10.6 GHz with S11 < −10 dB and provides isolation below −25 dB across the operating band. Using the simulation tool CST MWS, the antenna was designed and optimized. Furthermore, an experimental prototype was fabricated and measured. The comparison between simulated and measured results shows a good agreement, which validates the proposed concept. The obtained results show good performances in terms of bandwidth and radiation pattern.

Cyclic codes and self-dual codes over M2(F2) and M2(F2[i]) M2(F2)和M2(F2[i])上的循环码和自对偶码

In this paper, we study cyclic self dual codes over the finite ring M2(F2) and M2(F2[i]) by analogy with the ℤ4 case. We give the factorization of X7 + 1 over M2(F2) and we propose a new factorization of Xm + 1 over M2(F2[i]) for tow coprime polynomials.

Simulation and realization of printed Vivaldi-type antenna to optimize a bench of characterization of the materials used in GSM and DCS antennas 仿真与实现了印刷维瓦尔第型天线,优化了用于GSM和DCS天线的材料表征

In this paper, we present the study of a printed Vivaldi- type antenna, simulated using two software: “LINpar” to ensure the adaptation of the input of the antenna with the coaxial line and “ANSOFT Designer” for the analysis of the adjusted line and the antenna. This tool has helped us to obtain simulation results in the form of S-parameters and allowed us to obtain a gain of about 10dB, a bandwidth from 500 MHz at 6 GHz and an input impedance of 50 Ohms from the reflection coefficient S11. Finally, to validate the simulations, carried out, the realised antenna has been characterized using a network analyzer. The radiation pattern and S parameter values obtained are very satisfactory.

Limitation of a Five-Port Reflectometer using planar elliptic couplers for UWB applications 超宽带应用中使用平面椭圆耦合器的五端口反射计的局限性

In this paper, we present the design of ultra wideband (UWB) planar Five-Port Reflectometer using the elliptic coupler which has the advantage to offer a wide bandwidth compared to the hybrid one. The elliptic coupler and the five-port circuit were designed and simulated in the 1.5 to 3.5 GHz band using ADS software of Agilent. An analytical calculus and simulation results of a five-port circuit using elliptic coupler demonstrate limitations of this structure.

Directions of Arrival estimation of correlated sources in presence of Mutual coupling 相互耦合下相关源的到达方向估计

This paper proposes a self-calibration algorithm, that requires only real valued operations, to estimate the Directions of Arrival (DoAs) of correlated sources in the presence of unknown Mutual coupling. Based on the standard MUSIC algorithm and with respect to the same imposed constraints, we develop the Iterative Unitary-MUSIC algorithm that provides superior high resolution localisation capabilities even for correlated sources scenarios with a reduced computations cost as well as a low processing time compared with previous works. In our analysis, the induced Electro-Motive Force (EMF) method is used to model the mutual coupling matrix. Through computer simulations, we demonstrate that our approach has more interesting performances even if all coupling parameters are included and especially when the incoming signals are highly correlated. Moreover, we drive more flexible identifiability conditions for the uniqueness of the estimation solution that required a reduced number of sensors to estimate the same number of parameters compared with previous works.

Early demonstration of a passive millimeter-wave imaging system using substrate integrated waveguide technology 采用基板集成波导技术的无源毫米波成像系统的早期演示

Majority of the reported millimeter-wave (MMW) imaging systems are constructed on the basis of conventional waveguide technology as this technology is known to provide the best performance over higher frequency ranges. This paper proposes and presents an alternative platform of technology based on the substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) technology. Early results in the development of an SIW passive millimeter-wave imaging system are reported and discussed in this work. This technology presents many advantages over the conventional waveguide technology such as lower cost, smaller size, integrability with printed circuit board (PCB) technologies, compactness, as well as low interference susceptibility. An SIW passive imaging system operating at 35 GHz intended for concealed weapon detection is demonstrated at its early stage. It consists of a mechanically scanning reflector antenna, an SIW direct receiver and a computer running data acquisition software. The direct receiver presents a 1.5 GHz bandwidth centered at 35 GHz, 2.7 dB noise figure, and 48 dB gain. It was built upon interconnecting SIW sub-circuits in a LEGO manner which is appropriate for system prototyping. Resulting images for different scenarios are presented and the system operability is demonstrated.

Analysis of microstrip cascaded quadruplet filters by a multi-scale wave concept iterative procedure (M.WCIP) 用多尺度波概念迭代法分析微带级联四重态滤波器

There have been increasing demands for advanced RF/Microwave filters other than conventional Chebyshev filters in order to meet stringent requirements from RF/Microwave systems, particularly from wireless communications systems. In this paper, we will analysis the cascaded quadruplet (CQ) filters by an iterative method based on the wave concept, combined with the module of the approach multi-scale. The novelty of this method consists in substituting selected coarse meshes by their equivalent surface impedances. This approach offers high spatial resolution with low computing resources. The results are presented and analyzed to demonstrate its efficiency.

Uncertainty propagation in the SAR induced in the head using polynomial chaos decomposition 利用多项式混沌分解方法在头部诱导SAR中的不确定性传播

Fitting an experimental data model to evaluate the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) induced in the head model over time of our Finite-Difference Time-Domain (FDTD) process may lead to intractable calculations. These difficulties are due to the large number of parameters, and the amount of available data. In order to overcome these difficulties, statistical process control concepts have been introduced to develop a metamodel technique which parameterizes the SAR and allows the analysis of the parameters that can have an influence on the head tissues exposure. The appropriate stochastic metamodel and the Polynomial Chaos (PC) expansion coefficients are estimated by least-square regression. The objective of this paper is to show that the metamodelling technique based on a polynomial chaos can be an efficient tool to simplify uncertainty propagation problem to estimate the SAR10g induced in the head and the SAR average over 1g of the brain.

Performances assessment of the scheduling mechanism for the management of the quality service (QoS) in the IP network IP网络中QoS (quality service)管理调度机制的性能评估

To make the networks services flexible with the guarantee of parameters performance (time, gigue, flow and rate of loss of packages), it necessarily must, on the one hand, integrate a concept of priority using the mechanisms of scheduling, management and control in the network, and on the other hand to ensure a total quality of service. The quality of service (QoS) can be based on the architecture DiffServ (Differentiated Services) which offers a differentiation by priority based on a classification of packages at the entry of the network and a differentiated treatment inside. The management of the quality of service from beginning to end implies the presence of specific mechanisms of quality management.

Effect of permittivity on characteristics of embedded cylindrical dielectric antenna 介电常数对嵌入式圆柱介质天线特性的影响

The aims of the present study is to improve the bandwidth of the cylindrical dielectric resonator antenna (CDRA) excited by a coaxial probe above an finite ground plane by varying the permittivity of the CDR using an addition of a cylindrical sector. The permittivity and the size shape of the embedded element are varied in term to enhance the bandwidth and keep the minimum return loss. The finite element method (FEM) is employed to analyze the cylindrical dielectric resonator made from ceramic (constant εr=36.7).
