Abstract

This paper presents the results of evaluation about the characteristics of reflection and blockage losses due to the human body in the 300 GHz band. In the evaluation of the angular dependence of reflection loss due to the human body, losses of approximately −20 dB to −30 dB were observed. The blockage loss by a human wearing a shirt and a human wearing a down coat was approximately −26dB and −23dB, respectively. The blockage loss by a human wearing a down coat was −23 dB, which was 3 dB lower than that of a shirt.
