Abstract

Excessive mining of coal has given rise to the issues of safety and energy consumption in coal mine, and the crux lies in power network largely. In this paper, a set of monitoring system for power network in coal mine is present. Based on the demands of network operation, deep analysis is taken for the objectives of monitoring system: safety for workers underground, reliability of power network and A class equipment, power conservation. After that, system architecture and technical details are addressed and their pros and cons are discussed.
