Abstract
These days EEG headsets have appeared among others, not only applied in the field of medical researches, which are able to measure the electrical changes ongoing in the brain, moreover, the wear of them is not uncomfortable in long-term either. The article introduces a research applying BCI system, in which such an electroencephalography (EEG) based headset was employed. In the article the changes took place in the strength of the brainwave of the test subjects recorded during browsing different mass media content are analysed. According to the results the mid-gamma brainwave strength is higher while watching video contained web pages than looking at static pictures or reading a simple text.
