Abstract
Doctor Vasilii Ouatu (b. 1946) was born in the village of Hijdieni in Glodeni, Moldova. He served in Afghanistan (1985-1988) as a consultant to the chief dentist and the chief maxillofacial surgeon of the Afghan Army, based at the Military Medical Academy of the Central Army and at the Military Hospital in Kabul.
