Oleksandr Kotsiur was born in 1980 in Letychiv, a village in the Khmelnytsky region. Kotsiur, who received his education at the Pontifical Lateran University (Gorodok branch, Khmelnitsky region), is a Roman Catholic priest who was ordained in 2005 and currently serves at the Church of St. Anne (Bar, Vinnitsa region). As a military chaplain, he worked with soldiers from the 93rd Cold Yar Independent Mechanized Brigade, the 128th Independent Mountain Assault Brigade in Transcarpathia, the Donbas Volunteer Battalion, and the 1st Battalion of the National Guard of Ukraine named after Serhiy Kulchytsky.

Zalmai was born in Kabul in the 1950s. He lived in Afghanistan until the intervention of the Soviet troops, he was then working for a local travel agency. In 1979, he left Afghanistan and moved to France where he married and started his family. He continued to work in the tourism sector in France and retired in 2012.

Sister Simeone (nee Nadezhda Mikhailovna Dovganiuk) was born in 1973 in the village of Torgovitsa in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. In 1993 she entered the convent of sisters of the Order of St. Basil the Great (Ivano-Frankovsk). She is a nun of St. Vvedensky Monastery (Velikie Birky, Ternopil Region) of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. She studied at Lublin Catholic University of John Paul II. She has been serving as a chaplain since September 2014 and until now. She works at the hospital of the military unit A 1615 (Cherkasskoye village, Dnipropetrovsk region).

Andriy Gul was born in 1990 in Kuropatniki, a village in the Ternopil region. Gul graduated from the Kyiv Orthodox Theological Academy and was ordained a priest in 2015. After his ordination, Gul was sent to the Church of St. Nicholas in Kyiv as a full-time priest and later joined volunteers at the front following the beginning of the conflict in eastern of Ukraine. Since 2018 Gul has been chaplain of the Hetman Bohdan Khmelnytsky Independent Presidential Regiment.
