Abstract

This paper helps us to understand some of the basic concepts of ecological architecture and ecological apartments, as well as the applicability of ecological architecture in building ecological apartments, and creating ecological apartments to fit with local climates. Ecological apartments contribute to creating a comfortable living environment for people, saving energy and reducing environmental pollution in the process. In addition, this article also gives some solutions for designing ecological apartments to fit with the environmental conditions, climate, economy, and society of Ho Chi Minh City, as a basis for designers, architects to refer to and for managers to make policies for developing urban areas in the future. Eco-architecture will become an inevitable trend for the sustainable development of Ho Chi Minh City in particular, and large cities in Vietnam in general.
