Optimization of Intermediate Pressure of the Two-stage Refrigeration System 两级制冷系统中间压力的优化

A study was designed to observe effects of intermediate pressure $(P_{M})$ on coefficient of performance (COP) of the two- stage refrigeration systems. In this study, ammonia (NH3) and R404a gases were used as refrigerants because of their popular application in seafood processing plants. According to our observation, most of the two-stage refrigeration systems operated in batch mode with variable temperatures during their operation. Therefore, the theoretical adjustment of the $P_{M}$ was difficult to achieve during the operation. The actual $P_{M}$ of the two-stage refrigeration system depended not only on the operating temperature and the refrigerants in use but also on the ratio between the number of low-pressure and high-pressure compressors. As the ratio changed, the thermal balance of the intermediate tank changed followed by alteration of its temperature and pressure. The practical operating $P_{M}$ of the refrigeration systems was quite different from the calculated theoretical $P_{M}$, especially at the beginning and at the end of each operating cycle. The results showed that at standard operating conditions of the current refrigeration system with condenser temperature $(t_{R})$ at $4theta ^{o}C$, evaporator temperature $(t_{theta }) at-4theta ^{o}C$ and super-cooling temperature (delta T) at $1theta ^{o}C$, optimal intermediate pressures were 2.9 atm at $t_{M}$ (intermediate temperature) $=1theta ^{o}C$ and $6.theta 1$ atm at $t_{M} = theta ^{o}C$ for $NH_{3}$ and $R4theta 4a$ refrigerants, respectively. Reasonable ratios between high and low-pressure condensers of the two-stage refrigeration system with an internal heat exchanger intermediate tank were determined at 1:4 $(N= theta.2649)$ for $NH_{3}$ and 1:3 or 1:4 $(N= theta.2815)$ for $R4theta 4a$. The results presented in this paper may help to provide an important basis for the design and energy savings of the two-stage refrigeration systems.

Service-based Green Growth Model for Vietnam* 越南以服务业为本的绿色增长模式*

This paper investigates impact of the major sectors of the economy on growth and carbon dioxide emission. Based on this investigation, we proposed a green growth model, which depends on the shift of investment from industrial sector to service sector. By using SPSS with data from 1991 to 2011, we present relationship among independent sectors as variables and examine the effect of the independent sectors on economic growth and carbon dioxide emission. The results in this work showed that the shift investment from industrial sector to service sector can reduce carbon dioxide emission while keeping the target of economic growth.

Design Adaptive Controller and Guidance System of an Unmanned Surface Vehicle for Environmental Monitoring Applications 面向环境监测的无人水面飞行器自适应控制器与制导系统设计

The control problem of the vehicle which the automatic tracking of a target or a predefined track has many important applications in many fields such as military reconnaissance, observation of terrain, environmental quality survey therefore have been studied in many countries of the world. This paper presents the results of the USV control method using adaptive controllers to follow square or zig-zag trajectories using the Line of Sight (LOS) algorithm. The position and heading angle of the ship will be feedback to two Guidance-Control blocks for calculation and processing. Guidance using the LOS algorithm with look ahead distance to calculate the desired heading angle. Controller with adaptive sliding mode will calculate the force and torque to control the USV. The efficiency of the algorithm and method will be presented through simulation results using MATLAB/SIMULINK.

Enantio-selective Crystallization via a Kinetic and Thermodynamic Hybrid Process 通过动力学和热力学混合过程的对映体选择性结晶

An innovation enantio-selective crystallization process exploits advantages of both well known kinetic and thermodynamic crystallization methods, e.g. preferential and selective crystallization techniques. This approach allows to access single enantiomers from slightly enriched solutions. In the first step, polythermal auto-seeded preferential crystallization is applied to crystallize racemate and force the mother liquor come over the limitation of the eutectic point. After that, removing solvent from the mother liquor will move this system into a two phase domain to obtain the pure target enantiomer. This technique is successfully applied for the mandelic acid as a case study in this work.

Design A Chess Movement Algorithm and Detect the Movement by Images Classification Using Support Vector Machine Classifier* 设计一种国际象棋移动算法,并使用支持向量机分类器对图像进行分类检测

A game-playing AI (artificial intelligence) has been developed rapidly through the years. Chess is usually chosen to be a basic game to verify the AI algorithm. This paper presents a basic heuristic algorithm, which is Minimax algorithm and Alpha-beta pruning. In addition, the chess movement can be detected by an image, which is taken by a camera at the top, and after that make the best counter’s move. Image processing method combined with SVM (support vector machine) model was used to improve the detection of the chess moves. A computer vision program opened separate MATLAB window to run totally in the background.

Blockchain Technology - Opportunities for Emerging Economies 区块链技术,新兴经济体的机会

The recent major scientific conferences on the Innovatube Frontier (IFS) have focused on four areas of pioneering technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Blockchain and Augmented Reality / Virtual Reality. Blockchain has gained a lot of attention, because not only it is the technology that has created the fever of the Bitcoin and Ethereum digital coins, but also because of its great potentials that can change the nature of the real world and in everyone's lives. There have been various studies on blockchain, however, in reality the percentage of people who understand blockchain remain minute. This paper will highlight the important role of blockchain technology in the development of our future world, especially for developing countries.

Extracting and Purifying Pigment R-phycoerythrin from the Red alga Mastocarpus Stellatus 红藻中r -藻红蛋白的提取与纯化

R-phycoerythrin (R-PE) is one of the three phycobiliproteins which are extensively employed as fluorescent probes, natural colorant for the production of food and cosmetics and it is prepared from red macroalgae. Mastocarpus stellatus is known as a rich source of carrageenan and protein. In this study, the R-PE in the red seaweed Mastocarpus stellatus was extracted in 20 mM phosphate buffer (pH 7.1) and purified by DEAE sepharose Fast Flow chromatography with a three-step increase in ionic strength. The NaCl elution step allowed the crude extracts to be separated into three fractions: AE-150, AE-200 and AE-1000. The quality and quantity of R-PE recovery were indicated different methods to monitor each fraction obtained, such as spectrophotometric indicators, gel filtration. The A565/A280 ratio (Purity Index, PI) obtained after the purification step was 1.91 in the fraction AE-200 and this value was higher 14 times than the PI of the crude extract and about 8 times than the sample precipitation by ammonium sulfate saturation of 85%.

To support waitress in the activities of entertainment, a robotic bartender is proposed to serve cocktail in bar. The concept of robot in this paper is to carry out solutions in mechanics, electrics and control approach of bartender robot. From experimental results, the proposed bar-bot is not only able to provide various kind of cocktails, but also is able to serve large amount of customers in party.
服务机器人在家庭工作、交通运输、办公、安防、老年医疗等领域进入人们的日常生活,前景广阔。为了支持女服务员的娱乐活动,一个机器人调酒师被提议在酒吧提供鸡尾酒。本文的机器人概念是对调酒机器人的力学、电学和控制方法进行解决。从实验结果来看,所提出的bar-bot不仅能够提供各种鸡尾酒,而且能够在聚会中为大量的顾客提供服务。

Feasibility for Solid Waste Power Generation at Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam* 在越南富国岛进行固体废物发电的可行性*

Solid waste treatment, improving economic feasibility and improving the environment are urgent issues in Vietnam. Phu Quoc Island, the largest island in Vietnam, is expected to become a national center for ecotourism, recreation and entertainment, however the problem of solid wastes causing environmental pollution is very problematic and will have need the attention of society. The objective of this article is to study the feasibility of a solid waste generation solution for Phu Quoc, to demonstrate the economic and technical feasibility, based on the use of planning data generated for Phu Quoc in the period 2020-2030, environmental data in Vietnam, the application of the world’s technology$cdots$ The research results show that the potential for electricity generation from solid waste at Phu Quoc varies from 4.77.0 MW, the corresponding production cost from 6.4 to 5.3 cents/kWh. The project’s NPV can reach $5.1 million at a rate of 7%; The IRR project is 10.5%; The payback time of the capital is 13.01 years. The net profit margin and the return on investment were respectively 18.9% and 14.9% $cdots$ With this result, we can conclude that the project for the production of electricity from solid waste at Phu Quoc is a high feasibility should be applied in practice.

Optimization of Heterogeneous Electro Fenton Process for Textile Wastewater Treatment 非均相电Fenton工艺处理纺织废水的优化研究

To produce good textile products, many stable synthetic dyes are invented However, textile wastewater discharged into the environment containing a large amount of dyes which are bio-recalcitrant and stable to heat and solar radiation. These toxic contaminants impact negatively the environment for a long time and poison plant, animal and human. In this study, Heterogeneous Electro Fenton (HEF) system was applied to treat textile wastewater. $Fe_{3}O_{4}-CeO_{2}$ synthesized by co-precipitation method was used as a catalyst and graphite electrodes were chosen for their stability and good conductivity. Three operating factors greatly affected the removal efficiency are current density, pH and catalyst dosage. Response surface methodology was applied to find empirical mathematical models for these factors, then find an accordant operating condition for treatment which provides high removal efficiency and low operating cost. Investigated ranges scaled in previous studies were: current density $(1theta - 2theta nWcm2)$, $pH (3 - 5)$; catalyst dosage $(theta.5-1.5$ gel). At current density of 16.89 $mmathcal {X}cm^{2}, pH$ of 3.15, catalyst dosage of 1.24 g/l, the treatment reached its optimum condition, under that COD and color removal efficiencies are 95.5 % and $ 97.theta $ %, respectively, which met the national standard (QCVN 13:2015/BTNMT, Column A).
