Abstract

A method for generating three-dimensional sonic images is investigated. The method uses the point-in-space-to-ear-canal transfer functions. These transfer functions were measured by placing a reference microphone at a point in space, placing microphones in the ears of a subject and measuring the two transfer functions, one between the left ear and the reference microphone and the other between the right ear and the reference microphone.
