The benefits of this type of system are, lower TPS development cost, a common user interface and lower operator training cost. Abstract
Managing automatic test systems in the 1990s is more than writing BASIC test programs to control IEEE 488 instruments. Managing your automatic test system involves test program set (TPS) development, management of re-usable test objects, data management, tester resource management and user interface management.
