Abstract

The antioxidant activity of Xanthosoma violaceum Schott corm extract was assayed through in vitro models such as DPPH, Hydroxyl, Superoxide and ABTS radical cation scavenging and reducing power. The total phenolics and flavonoids methanol extract were found to be 0.37g100-1 and 0.48g100-1 respectively.
