We develop ViMOS (virtual machine migration with ONOS) application and measures the performance difference between SDN-based reactive forwarding (i.e., centralized L2 forwarding) and SDN-based proactive forwarding (i.e., intent networking). Abstract

One of the performance problems in the cloud system is unbalanced computational load distribution of PM (Physical Machine) due to overloaded situations such as high CPU load or critical thermal condition. Thus, VM (Virtual Machine) inside the PM need to be migrated to other PM to maintain VM performance.
