Abstract
A new radial tilt adjustment method with a partial response signal-to-noise ratio in HD DVD is described. This method can adjust the radial tilt rapidly because it monitors a parameter with polarity related to the radial tilt deviation. The accuracy of the method is plusmn 0.02 deg, which is enough for HD DVD systems
