Abstract

The existing mechanical rotary water meter has a high initial flow and pressure loss, leading to leakage and power consumption, thus adversely affecting water utility Marketing. This article introduces electromagnetic flow meters’ practical application effects and its development prospects in water supply systems. The article also describes the technical features of electromagnetic flow meters and compares them with mechanical rotary water meters.
