In the study, a static group pre-test Post-test pattern, one of the pre-experimental patterns, was used. The data obtained were analyzed with the statistical package program and found a statistically significant difference between the groups in favor of the experimental group. In addition, the answers given to the Idioms-Sentence Forming Form were evaluated by content analysis method in terms of exhibiting the change in the students' learning levels of idioms and supporting the research result. Based on these findings, it can be said that augmented reality applications effectively improve the idioms learning levels of primary school 2nd grade students. Abstract
