Abstract

With the increasing incorporation of new technologies into everyday life, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) have found, in addition to entertainment, also use in practice. The article is focused on optimizing and increasing the efficiency of UAV use in the “Search and Rescue” process. Different search situations, such as rugged terrain, outdoor temperature, area of search, require different procedures when using UAVs. In the research, the authors compared different infrared camera mount settings for specific situations along with different flight path arrangements during a UAV rescue mission.
