This research was designed as a case study, and qualitative research methods were used. The study group consists of 10 secondary school teachers from different branches working in Düzce in the 2019-2020 academic year. The data was gathered using semi-structured interview questions; the responses were subjected to content analysis. At the end of the research, the factors that teachers believed were limiting the effectiveness of school principals were collected under two subthemes: organizational and environmental obstacles. The last point was how to increase the effectiveness of a school principal. The three subthemes in this category are personal, organizational, and school environment remediation.
