The experimental results show that the pyrolysis products are C<inf>2</inf>F<inf>6</inf>, C<inf>3</inf>F<inf>8</inf>, C<inf>4</inf>F<inf>10</inf>, C<inf>3</inf>F<inf>6</inf>, C<inf>3</inf>F<inf>7</inf>H, C<inf>5</inf>F<inf>12</inf>, and C<inf>6</inf>F<inf>14</inf>. Both 13X molecular sieve and γ-Al<inf>2</inf>O<inf>3</inf> have strong adsorption effect on C<inf>6</inf>F<inf>12</inf>O in the original gas. Through the adsorption experiment of standard gas, it can be seen that the adsorption effect of 13X molecular sieve on the common fluorocarbon decomposition products C<inf>3</inf>F<inf>7</inf>H, C<inf>3</inf>F<inf>6</inf>, and C<inf>3</inf>F<inf>8</inf> gas is obvious, the adsorption rate is more than 70%, and the adsorption effect on C<inf>3</inf>F<inf>7</inf>H gas is 98.4%. The adsorption effect of γ-Al<inf>2</inf>O<inf>3</inf> on C<inf>2</inf>F<inf>6</inf>, C<inf>3</inf>F<inf>7</inf>H, C<inf>3</inf>F<inf>6</inf> and C<inf>3</inf>F<inf>8</inf> was poor, and the highest adsorption rate was only 31.8%. Abstract

C6F12O environmentally friendly insulating medium will decompose due to discharge and overheating failure. If the decomposition products are not adsorbed, it will pose a threat to the safety of equipment and personnel. In this paper, adsorption experiments were conducted to explore the adsorption effect of 13X molecular sieve and γ-Al2O3 on C6F12O superheated decomposition gas. The experimental results show that the pyrolysis products are C2F6, C3F8, C4F10, C3F6, C3F7H, C5F12, and C6F14. Both 13X molecular sieve and γ-Al2O3 have strong adsorption effect on C6F12O in the original gas.
