Abstract

In this paper, we analyze the error performance of a diffusive molecular communication system in the presence of flow. Our aim is to enhance both the timing and number of the receiver's observations used in the detection process. To this end, closed-form expressions for the bit error rate are presented and minimized in terms of the optimal sampling time and the ideal number of samples that should be collected within the observation interval.
