Abstract

The article describes the implemented design of a prototype single-drum power bench with a combined load device and an automated measurement system for testing motor-wheels and their control systems. Algorithms for testing motor-wheels with a diameter of 100 to 700 mm and a power of up to 5 kW are proposed, providing a clamping force to the running drum up to 1500 N. The results of testing a motor-wheel, a control system for small vehicles using friction and inertial loading devices are presented.
