Abstract
The priority purposes of the 5G network are increasing throughput and increasing spectral efficiency. For this purposes, a number of tools have been developed, the realization of which full potential is possible only if there is feedback from the User Equipment (UE) - Channel State Information (CSI). However, in conditions of fading in the radio channel, there is a problem of ensuring the relevance of the indicators included in the CSI for subsequent data transmission in downlink. This problem has the name of the CSI-Ageing or CSI-Outdating. There are a number of methods for compensating the CSI-Ageing. Today, the most effective method to minimize the impact of this effect is prediction. There are many developed algorithms and a lot of research on this topic. However, there are only a few complete reviews these algorithms. This paper has the main purpose of conducting such a review and analysis in order to identify the most promising algorithms for further research.
