Abstract

This paper proposes a novel and efficient jitter analysis method for high speed links. Based on step responses of the high speed link and information of jitters injected, the proposed method generates the eye diagram of link receiver for jitter impact evaluation. In this method, the range of jitter is converted into the range of voltage variation on step responses.
