Abstract

The present work was aims to generate an sustainable alternative for the production of bioplastics as a proposal for Agroindustrial uses, taking crops from El Salvador such as  potato (Solanum tuberosum) y Mandioca (Manihot esculenta Crantz) rich in starch, modifying the molecular structure by thermo-chemical process for obtain a thermoplastic starch capable to be moldable as a biodegradable film and be blended as a biocomposite.
