Abstract

A novel GSM/DCS dual-band single layer patch antenna is presented, it covers the bands of (890-960) MHz for GSM and (1710-1880) MHz for DCS with VSWR /spl les/2. This antenna consists of a ground plane, air layer, and a metal patch layer printed on a thin substrate with lower permittivity.
