Abstract

Using a dataset of 150,011 projects from Kickstarter, we analyse factors that influence the success of a campaign. Projects launched in March, on a Sunday mentioning positive words are most likely to get funded. Results show that goal amount, day of launch, category of project, and duration of the project are statistically significant.
