Investigação para o guia digital bilingue chinês-português na perspetiva das paisagens linguísticas de Macau o caso das placas de nome de rua

Abstract

In Macau, the official languages are Chinese and Portuguese as defined in the legislation of this territory, which has a multicultural and multilingual context, forming multiple linguistic landscapes. Street name signs in Macau are a representative linguistic landscape, in particular, street name expressions are necessarily in Chinese and Portuguese. In this context, it is indispensable to produce a bilingual Chinese-Portuguese digital guide from the perspective of the linguistic landscapes of Macau, in which way can facilitate the learning of Portuguese and train bilingual talent, an idea that is also promoted by the government and implemented in corresponding policies. In the case of street name signs, the present work aims to increase the interest and language skills of learners, as well as stimulate people's historical memory, present multicultural symbols of the city of Macau and attract more tourists to visit Macau
