Abstract
This paper presents all possibilities of the interconnection and damping assignment (IDA) procedure of passivity-based (PB) controller synthesis for DC-DC boost converter. In order to receive a universal control system, have been used all tree control parameters of damping and interconnection. Especially, introduction the interconnection allowed to dynamically modify the object’s structure instead of forming control signal as external influence in current system. That leads to better results of speed response of the output voltage in transient and its error in steady state than only damping actions. Obtained dynamic feedback PB controllers have been compared by computer simulation with others, in particular cascaded structures based on flatness and sliding mode control. Developed control system shows a robustness to system non-ideality, which have not considered during a controller synthesis. Furthermore, because of the signal of the duty ratio is forming with the use of dynamically obtained reference signal of the inductor current, there is the possibility of saturation of the latter that was realized.
