Abstract

A method for determining transient and set dynamic stresses that arise near the crack system in elastic bodies under out-of-plane deformation is developed. The method is based on an integral Laplace transform, modified Prudnikov model for its inversion, methods of boundary integral equations and minimization of corresponding criterion functions. Typical peculiarities of the stress intensity factors variation for one crack and a system of cracks at the stage of achieving by oscillations the steady-state condition are established.
