Abstract

We analyze a low-complexity matched-filter (MF) based approach for detecting the transmit antenna index in the spatial modulation (SM) or space shift keying (SSK) schemes. The detection metric of the scheme resembles the metric calculated by the Single Input Multiple Output (SIMO) Matched Filter (MF) detector.
