RECREATIONAL-LANDSCAPE ANALYSIS OF SUBURBAN LANDSCAPE-RECREATIONAL TERRITORIES OF THE CITY OF KYIV

Abstract

The purpose of the study is the recreational-landscape analysis of the suburban landscape and recreational areas of the city of Kiev. The research methodology includes the use of the method of comparison, analysis, synthesis and synthesis. Results. The notion of suburban zone, its limits for the city of Kiev is considered. The most common types of green plantations, the area of occupied territory, main forestry and the most common type of recreational activity are considered. The basic health-improving, medical institutions and children's camps, recreation and entertainment suburbs, the identification of its main functions, and patterns of location are analyzed. It was established that the city and suburban area are considered as a single complex as complementary and integral components. The scientific novelty consists in analyzing programs and strategies for greening the suburban area of Kyiv, the main tasks for the next ten years, and the prospects for their implementation by the greening of the city. The practical significance of the study is to use its results when creating and implementing further programs and strategies for greening the suburban area of the city of Kyiv.
